Decent Homes Rebuild Residents Diary


I had been previously informed that the internal works to my flat should be completed within 20 working days, in my case commencing on Tuesday 19th August 2014, which meant that the works should be completed by close of play on Monday 15th September 2014.
I was also previously informed that as my disabled shower unit, which had been previously approved by the Occupational Therapy Department, will be installed as part of this project.

The project management team, along with their architect and builder with colour and material samples had met with me a few weeks previously to agree design and colour schemes for the new kitchen, but, as it happened, it was me who noticed that the plan had placed a freezer in front and above boiling hot water pipes, which would have burnt out the freezers’ mechanism in no time.
