The DVLA are warning all motorists about a scam whereby motorists are being conned into giving crooks their bank details after telling then that they are entitled to a rebate on payments they had made to tax their vehicles, and that to get thew rebate you need to confirm your bank details.

The DVLA have emphasised that they do not and have never sent out any such letters.
