The Neighbourhood Alert network are warning locals of a ‘Fine Art’ scam.

614An alert has been called by several anti fraud organisations over a new scam where the public are bring offered the opportunity to purchase pieces of ‘fine art’ at acceptable prices.

The problem is that there are many levels of scams operating in the purchase process, from extortionate handling fees, shipping fees, management fees etc.

If you are offered any artwork which sounds too good to be true – it probably is.

You have been warned!
