SCAMMERS ARE USING XMAS DEMAND FOR ELECTRICAL GOODS

As usual, scammers are trying to hit the innocent on-line shopper in ther build-up to Christmas.

This time it’s another variation in getting you to buy non existing products using hi grade websites, with cheaper priced items. The sites let you attempt to pay by credit card, but say that your card payment has failed, and so ask you to pay by bank transfer instead.

Yes – it’s another variation of the vanishing bank transfer trick!

Western Union is just one bank transfer system popular with scammers.

Remember = NO reliable company will ever ask for you to make a payment for goods on-line by bank transfer. You should only use either your credit card or Paypal when purchasing on-line, and only deal with sites you know well.

Don’t forget our motto:

NEVER BE THE VICTIM!
