Decent Homes Rebuild Residents Diary


It has now been a month since the power outage which caused the catastrophic failure of the brand new super-efficient building access system, as covered by my previous article.

We are still having to slog to and from the entrance every time there is a visitor or delivery, just to let them into the building. That includes the elderly and disabled residents.

Any even half competent organisation should have been  able to repair this service by now, especially as this is a brand new system, and therefore has no worn out parts, and should have the latest in software and safety back-up systems.

I asked the Keepmoat office when they expect the doors to be back in service, and the only answer they could give me is that they have no idea at…
