MORRISON’S RECALL COOKED MEAT IN
Supermarket chain Morrison’s has had to put out a recall on it’s 150gm Peppered Beef Slices in a hygiene scare in which elderly or weakened customers could contract flu like symptoms or even possibly listeria.
The recalled packets have the Use By date of February 21 2017.
The FSA, responsible for maintaining the quality of our food, has said: “If you have bought the above product, do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.”
It is now believed that in certain rare cases the contamination could cause additional problems such as sickness, diarrhoea, and even meningitis.
