Special Price Star

Whenever you see the phrase ‘Special Price’ you should always ask what is so special about this particular price. A common practice is to hide a price increase behind this label so you won’t notice the price increase, and actually are more likely to purchase the item at the higher price quite happily, without asking any awkward questions, believing you have a bargain. You should make a habit of remembering (wherever possible) just how much you previously paid for an item, maybe even carry an old till receipt with you. You may well be be surprised at the price comparison between last weeks price and the ‘Special Price’ today!
